  • 7:00 PM
  • Bicycle Johns 26635 Valley Center Dr, #108, Santa Clarita, CA

Join us for our bi-monthly meeting.

Speaker: Pete Coulson

Topic:  Making the most of your off season to have a stellar upcoming season.

Pete Coulson originally hails from Australia - The Shire to be exact - otherwise known as Sydney's Tri Mecca. The Shire was also home to Greg Welsh, Craig Alexander, Michelle Jones, Chris McCormack to name a few.

Twenty years ago Pete came to the USA to show the yanks what the Aussies are made of. Within a matter of years, he had notched up two ITU World Championship titles, a silver at the Sydney Olympics, and more recently four Kona crowns, victories at Wildflower, and a running tally of over 200 triathlon wins.

There is no shying away from the company Pete keeps: he currently advises Craig 'Crowie' Alexander on his quest to another Kona gold and is in regular daily contact with many other top professional athletes.  His expertise has seamlessly crossed over from elite triathletes to Motorcross, working with some of the best in the business, and now age-group athletes, complete with their lives/jobs/family commitments, also. Many say that he runs the triathlon scene in San Diego; a lifetime of contacts and experience + results validating that statement.

Pete himself is a three time masters world champion on the velodrome - his winning jersey can be seen at Encinitas' Nytro Triathlon Store. He was trained as a junior at the Australian Institute of Sport but has fine tuned his skills by living and breathing the swim-bike-run disciplines.  We hope you join us to listen to advise he has to offer to us.

We will serve light refreshments, water and beer.  Please bring a chair or two.

We hope you will join us and please, bring a friend!
